Credit Suisse - Summer Internships

Internships for penultimate year candidates pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree

http://campusrecruiting.credit-suisse.com/en/Asia_Pacific/Home.html

Credit Suisse offers intellectual challenges, exceptional rewards and global development potential for people who want to make a difference in the world. It's not about filling jobs. We are looking for people with the energy, ambition and passion to help Credit Suisse become the world's premier bank.

http://campusrecruiting.credit-suisse.com/en/gl_content_en/Home/Application_Process/Application_Process.html

The Credit Suisse application process includes four phases.

Phase 1: Submit Online Application
Complete the online application and upload your resume and cover letter at the end of the form. Your cover letter should clearly outline your reasons for applying and explain why the position (and location) you’ve chosen interests you.

The application asks you to specify the division and location to which you want to apply. You can learn about our business areas and opportunities available through this website.

Tips

Make sure your contact details are correct – if they’re not, we won’t be able to get in touch and you may miss the chance for an interview.

Carefully select the appropriate region and program. If you select the wrong region or program you will have to create a new application.

This is your first opportunity to sell yourself. Make sure you are specific and provide relevant information that will differentiate you from other applicants. Generally we encourage you to keep your resume to a maximum of 3 pages.

Reread your application to check for any mistakes before you submit it. You cannot edit your application once it has been submitted.

We discourage photographs to be included in your resume.

Your career office should be able to assist you to build your resume.

Phase 2: The First Round Interview Process
Your application will be reviewed by both the business area you have chosen and by Campus Recruitment. If you are selected for an interview, your first round is likely to consist of one or more 30-minute competency-based interviews either face to face or by telephone. We will expose you to a range of people from the division or desk that interests you. These people will vary in background, seniority and experience.

Phase 3: The Final Round
The final round will consist of interviews and exercises designed to match you to a particular group or to assess a particular competency. At this stage we also try to provide a good idea of what your job will entail and the type of work you could be exposed to on a day-to-day basis.

Phase 4: Considering an Offer
Soon after your final round, we will contact you to tell you the results of your interviews. If you receive an offer, a number of representatives will be available to answer your questions about Credit Suisse or about the offer itself. We want you to feel as informed as possible about your future at Credit Suisse. Speak to people that can offer you additional perspectives to help you in making an informed decision - industry professionals, seniors in school who may have interacted with or interned at Credit Suisse, careers office etc. We encourage you to respond with your decision in a prompt fashion but of course only after you have carefully evaluated the offer. Where in doubt your career office should be able to offer guidance.

you have to commit

http://campusrecruiting.credit-suisse.com/en/Asia_Pacific/Home/Application_Process.html

If you want to join Credit Suisse, you have to commit. You must understand the role you are applying for, and be able to explain why you are applying for it. You need to know how your strengths and ambitions match up to the challenges and opportunities of the role you want. And you need to be honest with yourself: ultimately you need a career in which you will feel happy and fulfilled.

Preparing for your interview is vital: it’s a process that could affect the rest of your life. It’s important to us too as a business, as we use interviews to identify the finest talent, so we want to see you at your best. The following is a list of hints and tips about the process designed to help you impress.
